Day 17

" Miriam tried to open her right eye again. Slightly more and longer. Explained to her that her tracheostomy is temporary and not to worry. Don't know whether she understood or not but best explained upfront since she is afraid of tubes. She might think it's permanent."-Alex

This is the most recent update that we have received and Praise the Lord for it!!

  1. hello A-m, Alex, warren, howie, and cousins! You are all in our prayers as we intercede for Miriam each day. Grace has been texting me updates and we rejoice with each progress, believing that God is healing Miriam while she is at rest. Be still, and know that our God is almighty! He will work wonders for us to see. Immanuel, God is with us all wherever we are. This 2011 is drawing us all closer to Him, as we join hearts in prayer for Miriam. Praise God! He wants us to cast all our cares upon Him.

3 years ago while on holyland tour, robert and i were baptized at the Jordan river by ptr steve ruetschle, senior pastor of Union Church in Manila. Last June, 2010 while on holidays at the US, he met a motorcycle accident and injured his spine. his wife, michelle posted regularly his progress and i enjoin you to read from the start steve's website, how the Lord little by little restored steve to his feet. you can watch the short video posted on oct 28, 2010, a summary of what transpired. Each day is a step of faith as they see wonders unfold, Very powerful and inspiring. Just type steve ruetschle and you can access to his website.
